While it’s safe to say, I haven’t been to Tartine (253 W. 11th S) in years, I always think fondly about its BYOB policy, I don’t really care staff attitude and quite cuisine (herbed goat cheese salad and sautéed chicken).  The best seats are outside in the Spring and brunch (Home Gravlox Plate and Apple Pancake Omlette) is always great even as you linger over your coffee and the line grows. The menu hasn’t changed much, neither has the crowd. You mustn’t feel quilty…really.
